CNC Machinist

Job description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Boring Mill Machinist located in Rock Island, IL. The CNC Boring Mill Machinist will work on complex and custom parts manufacturing for automated equipment. This role will be responsible for operating CNC machines and will be involved in the entire process of creating machined parts.

Qualifications

Must have experience in operating CNC machines and using software to program machines

Experience with large boring mill machines. 50HP G&L

Experience with G&M codes is required

Expertise in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Experience in precision measuring tools is required

Ability to improve processes and solve problems related to production and quality

A passion for manufacturing, technology, and innovation

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, Technical school completion or associate degree is a plus
