Key Responsibilities:
Patients, families, allied health professionals, physicians, staff from all hospital departments.
Qualifications:
Ability to assess patient's needs for therapeutic services and make appropriate referrals. Ability to provide appropriate documentation. Expertise in assessment and community resources preferred.
Education:
Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field.
Licensure/Ceriification:
Current Virginia Drivers License
Required Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Approved Supervisor preferred.
Current CPS preferred
Current Physical and Verbal Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification preferred.
Experience:
Three (3) years relevant leadership experience in a psychiatric/behavioral health program or facility.
Physical Requirements:
Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients with assistance. Manuel and finger desterity. Hand-eye coordination. Ability to run. Ability to restrain patients weighing up to pounds with assistance. Ability to lift and arry items weighing up to pounds. Ability to perform CPR. Ability to drive a vehicle. Frequent stnading, bending, stooping and reaching in over to move items or assist patients. Hearing and vision sufficient to perform essential functions. Emotional stability necessary to perform essential functions. Ability to speak clearly. Ability to write legibly.
