Axia Electric, LLC, a subsidiary to Shimmick Construction, offers electrical, instrumentation, and process controls expertise for water and wastewater treatment; dams and locks; mass transit and rail; alternative energy; power generation and transmission; and commercial building projects. Our ability to self-perform this specialty offers additional value and enables us to better control cost and schedule for projects with major electrical and process mechanical scopes.

Axia Electric, headquartered in Riverside, California, focuses on large public owners in several states, across water resources, water treatment, transportation and transit markets. Over the past decade, the division has grown tremendously, securing major projects, including the $350 million North City Pure Water Facility in San Diego and the $235 million EVMWD Regional Water Reclamation Facility Expansion Project in Lake Elsinore, CA.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects.
• Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area, or a multi-discipline construction project.
• May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities or may coordinate with client's resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.
• Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design / specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.
• Help foster development and training of the next generation of talent.

The salary range for this position is between $175,000- $225,000 per year depending on experience and / or education.
