[job_card.job_description]Proven ability to think and operate as a Solution Architect – long‑term patterns, trade‑off decisions, standards alignment. Ability to articulate the difference between architecture and software design. Skilled in creating system diagrams, conceptual / logical architectures, and integration flows. 7+ years in consulting or client‑facing advisory roles. Ability to coach BSAs and delivery teams. Operates well with ambiguity and drives structured decision‑making. Exceptional communication skills – able to translate technical concepts for business audiences. Strong ability to partner with business leaders, understand operational challenges, and frame solutions. Influential, consultative, and comfortable leading discovery and architecture discussions. Must work onsite in Chicago 4 days per week (Mon‑Thu). Professional presence for executive and stakeholder engagement. Experience supporting or working with Python / R analytics or data workflows. Understanding of how these ecosystems integrate with enterprise systems and cloud environments. Banking or fintech experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with regulated environments, compliance, and governance. Able to work within a small architecture team (1 leader + 4 architects). Highly self‑directed with strong collaboration and mentoring skills. Microsoft .NET experience (legacy or interoperability). AWS Architect or TOGAF certification. Experience with event‑driven architecture or domain‑driven design. Experience coaching junior architects or BSAs. Exposure to fintech innovation or data‑driven product teams.
Solutions Architect
Location : Chicago, IL (Onsite – 4 days per week)
Non-Negotiables / Must Haves
- Mid to senior level; strong hands‑on experience designing AWS architectures (patterns, cost, scalability, security, governance).
- Ability to evaluate AWS services and guide stakeholders in best practices.
- Experience delivering AWS‑based solutions in regulated or enterprise environments.
- AWS certifications strongly preferred.
