Join our dynamic team in the Critical Care Float Pool! This is an incredible opportunity to gain valuable critical care skills across various units, including Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiovascular ICU, and our progressive critical care unit.

Position Details :

  • Work Shift : Float Pool, Nights
  • Salary Range : $83,200.00 - $93,184.00
  • Hourly Rate : $34.65 - $35.69

As a Clinical Nurse in the Critical Care Float Pool, you will :

  • Implement physician orders and administer medications.
  • Perform treatments, procedures, and special tests as needed.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for care provided.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for various patient needs.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Care Plan for all patients.
  • Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

    • Qualifications :

  • Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications must be obtained and maintained.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Progressive Care or ICU preferred.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques to enhance patient care quality.
