Job Description :
Pay Range : $25hr - $30hr
- The Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical Assembler performs a variety of assembly operations involving mechanical and electrical components, sub-assemblies, and end products.
- This role requires a strong focus on quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities :
Perform mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products.Follow verbal and written instructions while maintaining quality standards.Work from engineering assembly processes and adjust, fit, or align parts as required.Utilize hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, soldering irons, and wrenches.Maintain consistent quality and productivity levels.Use Microsoft Office programs for documentation and reporting.Maintain a neat and clean work area.Identify problems and contribute to process improvements.Perform hand soldering on electronic assemblies.Collaborate effectively as part of a team.Traverse across the production floor throughout the shift.Transport up to 30 lbs. as needed.Read and interpret mechanical / electrical drawings and Bills of Material.Work toward obtaining a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or2 years post-secondary / Associate Degree with 0-2 years of related experience.Preferred Additional Skills :
Electrical background at the component level.bility to identify and contribute to process improvements through continuous improvement programs.Certifications such as J-STD-001 and IPC-610.Mechanical or electrical assembly experience including soldering.Good hand-eye coordination for microscope work.Working knowledge of RF transmission, receiver circuits, analog and digital circuitry.bility to troubleshoot RF / Digital circuits to the component level.Experience with calibration of RF circuitry and test equipment (signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers).dvanced ability to solve complex technical problems and analyze faulty circuits.Must-Have (Soft Skills) :
Punctual and reliable.Team-oriented with strong collaboration and communication skills.Qualification and Education :
High School Diploma or GED required.Prefer 8 years of relevant experience or a 2-year degree with 4 years of related experience.
