Briefs Media is on a mission to help 1.3 billion people be better with money.

We are a financial media startup that specializes in financial news & investor research.

We're looking for a full time financial journalist with a passion for financial markets who is excited to join our team of money nerds.

You are required to have 2+ years of experience as a journalist, and you must be very familiar with the markets.

  • If you are not familiar with basic financial concepts like inflation - this is not the role for you.

Please note : this is a full time in office position.Our office is located in the heart of Detroit's business district.

Your role will require you to :

  • Research topics for our daily financial newsletter (Market Briefs - please review prior to applying)
  • Write articles for our newsletter and website
  • Edit our content for accuracy, grammar, and tone
  • Join our on-camera show(s) to discuss the financial markets
  • Make our content better!
