Combat System Technician

The Combat Systems Technician conducts repair and failure analysis on AN / SQQ-89(V) SONAR equipment in Fleet Concentration Areas (FCAs). Subject Matter Expert with all AN / SQQ-89(V) SONAR combat system equipment. Familiar with all legacy SONAR and modern AN / SQQ-89A(V)15 SONAR equipment. Analyzes failures and faults and provides corrective solutions required in order to implement equipment repair. Conducts testing and restoration activities as required.

EDUCATION : High school diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE : Ten (10) years’ experience in troubleshooting and repairing AN / SQQ-89(V) SONAR system equipment.

Requires active Secret clearance

Must be US Citizen

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $34.86 - $45.43. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
