A company is looking for a Corporate Development Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Structure, draft, and negotiate key transaction documents for acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments
Lead and manage the end-to-end legal due diligence process and coordinate with internal specialists
Serve as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team and provide strategic advice on deal structures
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active membership in at least one state bar
At least 4 years of relevant legal experience with a focus on M&A, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements
Experience in a law firm's M&A / Corporate practice is preferred; in-house experience at a technology or high-growth company is a plus
Expertise in corporate law, contract law, and securities law
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
