In this role, you will perform essential respiratory therapy procedures, adapt to varying patient needs across all age groups, and work autonomously in both acute and critical care settings.
We offer competitive sign-on bonuses :
$7,500 for Direct Care Respiratory Therapists with one year or more experience$5,000 for those with less than one year of experienceAdditionally, eligible full-time positions offer $1,800 in tax-free student loan repayment each year. Relocation assistance is also available for candidates moving to South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
Independently perform respiratory therapy procedures in compliance with physician orders and departmental policies. - 20%Draw and analyze blood gases, providing accurate results. - 10%Initiate, monitor, and manage all types of invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation. - 20%Manage all types of airways and associated equipment effectively. - 10%Maintain accurate documentation for all respiratory care procedures and tasks while educating patients and families as appropriate. - 10%Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, providing comprehensive reports and taking proactive measures. - 10%Follow infection control and quality assurance procedures, ensuring proper cleaning and disinfection of equipment. - 10%Utilize resources efficiently, demonstrating stewardship in the use of supplies and time. - 10%Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have :
A degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program approved by the American Medical Association or equivalent.Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina or be a graduating senior within three months.BLS certification is required; NBRC credentials must be maintained.For new hires from June 2016 onwards, passing the Therapist Multiple Choice Exam and Clinical Simulation Exam within your first six months is mandatory.NRP and PALS certifications are necessary for those working independently in the NICU and PICU.Skills Required
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to thrive in a team environment, possess strong communication skills, and exhibit proficiency in computer and organizational tasks.
