A company is looking for a UM Unit Precert Specialist - PT - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Complete precertification, notification, and authorization for patient accounts
Manage work queues, including charge reviews and retrospective Medicaid authorization requests
Facilitate fiscal responsibility for patients and the organization in accordance with policies
Required Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment with computer skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good understanding of medical terminology and patient medical information
Advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft suite of programs
