High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus. Previous experience in a tool crib or tool room environment preferred. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of tool maintenance and repair. Excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tool Crib and Tool Room Technician to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining tools and equipment in both the tool crib and tool room, ensuring efficient operations and supporting our production and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Tool Crib Duties (50%) :
- Issue and receive tools and equipment to / from employees.
- Maintain accurate records of tool usage and inventory.
- Perform regular inventory checks and audits.
- Ensure tools are properly stored and maintained.
- Order new tools and supplies as needed.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the tool crib area.
