Pay Range: $40,000 $50,000 annually ($19.23 $24.04 hourly)

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and dependable Shipping Supervisor Lead to oversee in-house shipping operations and supervise a team of 1520 temporary laborers. This role requires a strong leader who can drive daily execution, maintain productivity, and ensure shipping tasks are completed accurately and on time. This is a vital floor-level leadership position that helps maintain consistency and structure within our shipping department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee shipping tasks such as sorting, staging, prepping, and outbound shipment readiness.
• Supervise and coordinate a temporary labor team of 1520 employees, ensuring efficient labor utilization.
• Maintain constant floor presence to direct, motivate, and correct team members as needed.
• Communicate daily updates, challenges, and progress to Warehouse Managers.
• Ensure all shipping processes are followed properly and efficiently.
• Keep the shipping work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Monitor task progress and adjust labor allocation to meet tight deadlines.

Candidate Profile

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) to effectively communicate with diverse team members.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold team members accountable.
• Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks while keeping the team focused.
• Clear and effective communicator, able to provide direction and relay updates to management.
• Hands-on leader willing to work alongside the team on the floor.
• Prior supervisory experience in shipping, warehouse, or labor-intensive environments preferred.
