Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A registered nurse with expertise in operating room procedures is needed to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic surgical environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout perioperative activities.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready
Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgeries by providing necessary instruments and support
Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during surgery, addressing any changes promptly
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain standards of care and adhere to protocols
Document surgical interventions and patient progress accurately in medical records
Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care, including assessments and education

Desired Experience and Qualifications :

Current and valid RN licensure

Proven experience in operating room nursing

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control measures

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing situations

Excellent communication skills for interaction with surgical teams and patients

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
