Senior Tax Associate

We are a publicly-traded manufacturing company (C-Corp) with a long-standing history of providing innovative products and solutions to our customers. Our organization has a strong commitment to investing in our employees, and we are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our accounting team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will prepare federal and state tax returns. This will be a hands-on role reporting into the Tax Director.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for C-corp, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations

Assist with the development / implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities

Coordinate and manage tax audits and inquiries

Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and communicate any changes or updates to the appropriate stakeholders

Work collaboratively with external tax advisors and consultants as needed

Minimum Requirements for the Tax Associate Position :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Demonstrated interest in the Tax field

Minimum Requirements for the Senior Tax Associate Position :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

2+ years of relevant and progressive tax accounting experience

Federal and state compliance experience for C-Corps

System savvy and proficient in Excel
