Your Impact
Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiencies :
- Sets up machine and observes machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and caliper
- Sets up and control operation of computerized deburring and tooling machine to perform series of machining operations, such as drilling, chamfering, and deburring
- Inspection of work pieces throughout the production run for out-of-tolerance machining
- Responsibly maintains inventory for raw materials consumed on jobs and work orders so that parts can be re-ordered within appropriate lead times
- Maintain work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience :
Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma / GED is preferred.With moderate supervision and quality work ethic, functions as a member of a customer focused quality team whose goal is to ensure that product quality requirements have been achievedMaintains adequate levels of performance and motivation despite job tasks that are routine, repetitive, and / or non-stimulatingAbility to understand and carry out oral and written directivesPossess detailed operational knowledge of specific CNC mills and lathes to be operated safely and efficientlyUnderstanding of how to calculate and set machine controls either manually or by entering commandsAbility to use precision measuring tools and equipment, read drawings and blueprintsPossess familiarity of common machine and measuring tools, including micrometers and calipersRegularly exerting up to 35lbs of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs.Bending body downward and forward at the waist.Standing for sustained periods of time.Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.Ability to effectively communicate with team members.Delivers quality work consistently.Recognize and solves problems; evaluates and selects solutions from established options.Working Conditions
