Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a OIPA Engineer to join their team. As a OIPA Engineer, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting the Life Insurance and Annuity Policy Administration Systems team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovative technology, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : OIPA Engineer
Location : Remote (Must sit in EST)
Pay Range : $70-95 / hr.
What's the Job?
Develop and maintain policy administration systems using Oracle Policy Administration System (OIPA)
Configure and extend OIPA functionalities including integration, data intake, and database architecture
Implement security features, screens, and release management for policy systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Java, SQL, and Oracle databases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and improve system efficiency
What's Needed?
Minimum of 4 years experience in developing policy administration systems using OIPA
Proficiency in Java programming for system maintenance and troubleshooting
Experience with Oracle databases and writing SQL queries
Knowledge of configuration language, integration, and release management within OIPA
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
