Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial strategy, operations, and reporting for our growing home remodeling company. This role is responsible for maintaining financial health, improving profitability, supporting project-level decision-making, and ensuring accurate tracking of job costs and company performance.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA preferred
- Financial accounting and reporting with 5 or more years of experience
- Able to participate in cross-functional initiatives and collaborate among numerous business relationships
- Good written and oral communications skills
- Ability to work independently
- High professional and ethical standards in the application of accounting principles and government regulations
- Ability to be part of a team of motivated professionals, and to handle multiple tasks.
- This is an in office position, no working from home

Compensation
$60,000 per Year, room for potential bonus
Requirements:
Essential job duties
- Responsible for reconciliation of bank accounts and booking monthly journal entries
- Reconciliation of all asset and liability accounts monthly and quarterly
- Responsible for maintaining all accounting records, along with general ledger account reconciliations, including reconciling general ledger accounts to back office systems.
- Responsible for preparation of monthly financial close workbooks to support the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and general ledger for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
- Prepare, provide analysis and answer questions on financial statements, including balance sheet and financial performance.
- Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
- Work with external tax preparers, investors, and other key stakeholders in preparation of requested reports.
- Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
- Develop and manage annual budget and periodic forecast processes
- Assist management with important financial decisions and special projects as necessary
- Assist the Sales Team to make sure homeowners are getting approved for financing with our current finance partners
