We are a high-performance metal and welding shop looking for a Journeyman level Fabricator who can take on complex builds with precision, leadership and craftmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate custom components, assemblies, and structures using advanced tools, machinery, and materials.
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical schematics.
Perform high-precision welding, cutting, forming, machining, or finishing operations.
Determine material requirements and plan fabrication workflows.
Lead fabrication projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
Inspect completed work for quality and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams to resolve design / fabrication issues.
Train and mentor junior fabricators and apprentices.
Maintain equipment, tools, and workspace; follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and production quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Expertise in welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) and / or other fabrication specialties.
Strong knowledge of materials (steel, aluminum, composites, etc.).
Ability to operate fabrication machinery : CNC equipment, manual machines, brake press, shear, rollers, plasma cutter, etc.
Excellent blueprint reading and measurement skills.
Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
Physical ability to lift, stand, and perform shop work safely.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications (AWS, ASME, machining certificates, etc.).
Experience with CAD or CAM software.
Experience supervising a fabrication team
