Day Services Instructor

Saratoga Bridges is looking for a talented and energetic Direct Support Professional whos ready for the next step in their career. Do you have experience in Day Hab Heres a great growth opportunity for someone with a year of experience working with people with a developmental disability in day services preferably in OPWDD services.

This Ballston Spa position is a Monday through Friday schedule where youll be home in time for dinner. Youll be working with your classroom team to provide experiences in the community such as volunteering at Meals on Wheels visiting local historic sites or visiting the library. There will be opportunities to participate in art projects Thursdays pizza lunch and classroom games.

In the classroom you will :

• Run & document daily goals for the people you are working with
• Provide hands on support to the people in your classroom
• Help other employees learn to be a great DSP

The payrate for those with a high school diploma is $22.00 an hour. For those with a bachelors degree in a human services field the starting payrate is $24.00 an hour. You need 1 year of experience working with people who have a developmental disability. The schedule is 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm hour a week with a 1 / 2-hour lunch break.
