Rate Card Class : Quality Engineer - Quality Engineer CNE Work Location : Palmdale, CA Level : Level 3 : BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YRS Pay Rate : $26.60 - $58.00 Hourly OT40

Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, product evaluation and / or reliability, as they apply to product or process quality. Analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Collaborates with quality, engineering, planning and manufacturing organization's to ensure quality standards are in place. Influences improvement to methods and procedures. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies. Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
