Freelance Tech Writer (Smart Home)

This position will operate on a remote , freelance basis .

We’re looking for Freelance Tech Writers to contribute feature content to our Smart Home category at Valnet's Tech sites! This role is ideal for writers who enjoy testing devices, exploring platforms, and explaining how connected home tech actually works in the real world.

You’ll be creating practical, reader-first content that helps everyday users set up, optimize, and troubleshoot their smart homes, whether they’re beginners or power users.

What You’ll Be Writing About Our smart home coverage includes (but is not limited to):
