PrideStaff is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team for a client in the Lockport, IL area! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records. This is a TEMP to HIRE position.

1st Shift, Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm

Pay Rate : $18-$22 (DOE)

Responsibilities :

  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • Compute and record numerical data
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented

    • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or other related fields
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable and trustworthy - able to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • Able to read, write, and perform mathematical computations
  • Computer literate, able to type 55+ wpm with a high degree of accuracy
