About the Role :

Join Assisting Hands of Chester County South as a Homecare Caregiver, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients in Chester County, PA. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional in-home care and support. Responsibilities :

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Administer medication and monitor clients' health as required.
  • Help clients with mobility and physical exercises to maintain their independence.
  • Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare is a plus.
  • Previous experience in homecare or healthcare settings preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
