LJB offers challenging and rewarding assignments for co-op students and summer interns in our Dayton, Ohio office. Students work with experienced engineers and are exposed to a variety of civil engineering challenges. They also get the opportunity to work on real world projects in a professional environment.

Pay : $20+ an hour

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CO-OP ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Assist with design and engineering tasks focused on fall protection systems and related structural solutions.
• Perform routine structural engineering assignments under close supervision, using established standards, procedures, and drawings in accordance with industry best practices.
• Gain exposure to the full design process, including both office-based planning and documentation as well as field-based assessment and support.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to support technical design efforts, calculations, and documentation.
• Contribute to engineering reports, sketches, and CAD / BIM drawings under the guidance of senior staff.
