Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Lynn, Massachusetts. Responsibilities :
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Handle credit card entries and reconcile transactions to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Generate financial reports using Sage Intacct to support audits and maintain compliance.
- Assist with 1099 preparation and filing to meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to clean up and organize financial data for improved operations.
- Support day-to-day accounting tasks such as journal entries and general ledger updates.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial statements align with company records.
- Address and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable and other financial systems.
- Provide assistance in maintaining uniform financial records for audit purposes.
- Contribute to improving processes and workflows within the accounting department.
Requirements :
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.Strong understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and financial reporting.Experience with 1099 preparation and filing processes.Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Familiarity with nonprofit accounting practices is a plus.Availability to work onsite 4 days per week, with potential for hybrid or remote flexibility.
