- Charge experience, preferred
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Experience in General Surgery, Trauma, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Vascular/Thoracic Surgery

Description:
This position requires a registered nurse to work straight night shifts with limited call.
There may be one weekend of call per month, depending on scheduled shifts.
RNs must have strong experience in trauma, general, neuro, ortho, and vascular or thoracic surgeries.
Night shift RNs will need experience across all service lines, as they will be required to handle any and all cases that come to the operating room.
Candidates must possess the capability to perform independently in various services such as Urology, GYN, GYN-Oncology, ENT, and robotics.
Nurses will be expected to step in as charge nurse as needed and will often be the only nurse in-house with call for backup.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy.
The daily census is approximately 40 patients, and there are 14 operating rooms.
Candidates will not float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility unless otherwise agreed upon during the interview.
The role requires a strong understanding of advanced surgical procedures and patient care techniques.
