This role can be located at any of our CGI Federal Offices.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party tools.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications and workflows.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all Salesforce environments.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components.Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST / SOAP APIs.Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools and CI / CD pipelines.Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Developer II preferred).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.Experience working in a government or federal contracting environment.CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
