Robert Half is seeking an experienced affordable housing property administrator with a background in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance to support a multi-site recertification project in the Castro Valley area. This role focuses on catching up on tenant tax credit recertifications across several properties and working collaboratively with the Senior Property Manager to meet critical deadlines.
Property Administrator Duties include :
- Pick up existing processes and files without disruption, building on prior work.
- Handle all LIHTC tax credit recertification tasks; escalate questions quickly to the Senior Property Manager
- Support two recently acquired properties in compliance with local regulations
- Maintain high standards of documentation and organization (strong administrative skills required).
- Remain courteous and professional with residents—greeting and taking notes, not resolving issues.
- Use Yardi and Microsoft Office proficiently.
- Travel between offices as needed; must have reliable transportation.
- Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, calmness under pressure, and a positive, patient outlook.
