Job Overview

: The Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) plays a vital role in supporting the diagnostic and procedural needs of our pain management clinic by producing high-quality medical images that assist providers in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions. This position is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures safely and efficiently while ensuring patient comfort, accuracy, and compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures as ordered by providers.

Operate X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment to obtain diagnostic images of high quality.

Verify patient identity and obtain necessary consents prior to imaging.

Maintain accurate patient and imaging records within the EMR system.

Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.

Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure timely workflow.

Comply with Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI), ARRT, and HIPAA regulations).

Licensure / Certification :

Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license.

ARRT certification in Radiography (R).

Current BLS certification.

Experience

2+ Years of Work experience as a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech).

A degree or certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required.

Proven experience in diagnostic radiology, including emergency medicine or urgent care settings is preferred.

Strong understanding of medical terminology related to radiology practices is essential.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
