The role requires expertise in general orthopedics, particularly in joint surgery, with preference for candidates who are board certified and have an active IA license. The physician will work within a facility that has significant surgical support and an established electronic medical records system.

Coverage Needed

  • As soon as credentialed - ongoing
  • Cover 2 locations

Schedule

  • At least 2-3 weeks of coverage per month
  • 24-hour call, Friday 7 : 00am-Friday 7 : 00am
  • Possible help in clinic Monday-Thursday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

  • Number of Physicians in Facility / Department : 3
  • Patient Population Mix : 96% of patient population over 18; 4% is a combination of Peds and Adolescent
  • Average number of cases per day : On Call average 2-3 cases / day
  • Number of beds : 263
  • Trauma level 3

    • Requirements

  • Must be able to perform joint surgery
  • Procedures Required : General Orthopedics; fracture care, infection care
  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Active IA License - Highly Preferred

    • IMLC LOQ in hand will be considered

  • Local candidates - Preferred
  • Clean and easy-to-credential candidates - Preferred

    • Support Staff

  • Full hospital surgical support staff

    • EMR
