We are a growing bakery and coffee shop known for high-quality baked goods, custom cakes, and fresh breakfast and lunch offerings. We are expanding our reach and looking for a motivated Bakery Sales Representative to build strong relationships with local businesses, schools, cafs, event venues, corporate offices, and community organizations.

Position Summary
The Bakery Sales Representative is responsible for identifying potential partners, presenting our baked goods and catering services, and developing mutually beneficial relationships. This position involves outreach, product sampling, creating and negotiating terms, and coordinating contracts for ongoing orders or catering partnerships.
This is an excellent role for someone who is outgoing, organized, and passionate about helping local businesses grow.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building & Sales
- Identify and reach out to potential clients (schools, cafs, offices, event spaces, etc.)
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with new and existing partners
- Conduct product sample visits and presentations to demonstrate offerings
- Follow up with leads and maintain consistent, professional communication
Business Development
Develop creative proposals tailored to each clients needsCoordinate catering packages, bulk orders, and recurring delivery schedulesNegotiate pricing, terms, and service agreementsTrack sales goals and work with management to meet revenue targetsContracts & Coordination
Draft partnership terms, catering contracts, and service agreementsCoordinate order details between clients and bakery production teamMonitor contract renewals, changes, or expansionsEnsure accuracy in order fulfillment and client expectationsBrand Representation
Represent the bakery professionally at community events, vendor fairs, and networking opportunitiesMaintain a positive, knowledgeable presence when promoting productsGather client feedback and provide insights on product trends and ideasRequirements
Required :
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, outgoing, and comfortable approaching new clientsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to negotiate effectively and professionallyReliable transportation for sales visits and samplingAbility to learn bakery products and communicate clearly about offeringsPreferred (Not Required) :
Experience in sales, account management, marketing, or hospitalityExperience in the food & beverage industryFamiliarity with catering or wholesale operationsBasic understanding of contracts or service agreements
