JOB PURPOSE :
Ensures the quality care of all residents. Works closely with the Administrator, Health Services Director, Dining Services Director, Life Enrichment Coordinator, Housekeeping and Environmental Services Director. This position requires creativity and flexibility with residents who have complex situations and is at times stressful. Must train resident aides in tasks required for delivering quality care to the residents of the community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :
High school graduate or equivalent
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Minimum of four (4) years' experience in long term or assisted living elder care. A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a supervisory role within the healthcare industry.
MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
Current and unexpired CPR certification
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : (Preferred qualifications)
Previous supervisory experience in long term or assisted living elder care preferred. Degree in nursing from accredited school of nursing preferred
