Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Physician Assistant in Louisiana - Full-Time or Part-Time

Full-spectrum cardiothoracic surgical assist near New Orleans with transplant exposure and flexible block scheduling.

Highlights

  • Long term need with open-ended availability
  • Full-time or part-time scheduling options
  • 1 in 3 call rotation; days and weekends
  • Fast credentialing in 30 days

Practice Setting

  • OR and inpatient only; no clinic
  • Vein harvesting required
  • High acuity CTS with transplant exposure
  • Supported by 5 surgeons and experienced OR staff

    • Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3 : 30 pm
  • Call every third day and every third weekend
  • Flexible for ongoing or block assignments

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Full scope of cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery
  • Vein harvesting required
  • Transplants included

    • Requirements

  • Physician Assistant with cardiothoracic surgical experience
  • Active Louisiana license required
  • BLS, ACLS, and DEA required

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Local and drive-in candidates preferred
