PURPOSE OF POSITION :
To support the Purchasing Department by incorporating established “Supply Chain Processes” into all areas of purchasing procedures. Assists the Purchasing Supervisor with maintaining stockroom / materials management controls and perform data entry into respective accounting system.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma or GED. One (1) year relevant experience in a purchasing environment. PC proficiency using accounting / purchasing software and data entry experience. Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word. Basic math skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Effective English, grammar and writing skills. Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification . Valid California driver's license, liability insurance, and a DMV record that is acceptable to Goodwill's insurance company.
