[job_card.job_description]Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Take responsibility for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating nursing staff. Identify and address issues affecting patient care, developing effective policies and procedures. Monitor unit budgets, approving expenditures to maintain financial accountability. Consistently maintain alertness and safety in the workplace. Perform additional duties as needed. Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. A minimum of two years of registered nurse experience with progressive leadership responsibility, or one year of RN experience plus one year of leadership experience. Ability to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Regularly engage in sitting, standing, walking, and reaching activities. Ability to utilize vision for distinguishing colors and identifying details. Use hearing and speech effectively for communication. Frequent data entry and keyboard use. Occasional lifting of objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
