Program Outreach Volunteer

OVERVIEW : We are seeking a reliable, outgoing, and trustworthy volunteer to join our organization and develop their skills. The volunteer will attend outreach events in Northern San Mateo County to promote the Peninsula Book Collaborative’s mission and inform others about its work.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES :

Research and identify outreach opportunities that align with the mission and work of Peninsula Book Collaborative

Support marketing efforts of outreach events (develop promotional items, social media, etc.)

Represent Peninsula Book Collaborative at events and / or assist with recruiting other volunteers to be present at events

Follow-up on applications and logistics for outreach events

Set up, clean up, and support outreach events

Report back on outreach events (take photos, gather contacts, gather information about event participation, other data)
