Essential Functions :

• Initiate and organize a diverse range of activities to cater to the interests and well-being of senior residents.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during all activities, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to consistently maintain high standards for activity scheduling, aligning with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of activity programs, tracking individual resident participation and progress towards established care plan goals.
• Assist in the coordination of special events, outings, and group activities to promote socialization and community engagement.
• Work closely with residents, families, and staff to gather feedback and suggestions for future activities, adapting programs to meet evolving needs.

Requirements :

Seasonal flu vaccine required.

Experience in organizing and implementing activities for seniors preferred.

Skilled at working in memory care, or with individuals who have cognitive, physical, or sensory disabilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by seniors.

Flexibility and creativity to adapt activities to diverse interests and abilities.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance in senior living communities is a plus.

Salary :

$17.00 p / h

Work Schedule : 32 hours per week - Monday, Thursday, Friday 12pm-8pm. Every other Sat and Sun, 10am-6pm
