ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Windsor, Vermont.

Opportunity : RN - Circulator OR

Job Details :

  • 32-hour guarantee per week
  • Function as a key member of the surgical team in both circulating and scrubbing capacity
  • Work with adult and geriatric patient population (ages 16 and older)
  • Provide specialized care for general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain and endoscopy procedures
  • Work in 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room environment
  • Handle mostly outpatient procedures with limited inpatient cases
  • Hospital provided scrubs for dress code
  • Work with Cerner EMR system
  • Weekday call required 2 days per week with 1-hour call back time
  • Weekend call required 1 weekend per month with 1-hour call back time
  • 8-hour non-billable orientation required
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience required
  • Both scrubbing and circulating experience required
  • Experience working in smaller OR facility required
  • Phase I / PACU experience required
  • Multiple surgical experience required
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Travel experience highly preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • Must own personal vehicle (firm requirement)
  • Required certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
  • Vermont nursing license required
  • Strict 3-strike rule for call-offs enforced - contract eligible for termination after 3 absences
  • Call-offs must be communicated to unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance
