Good communication skills. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians. Physical stamina to lift and move heavy parts and equipment. Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Previous experience in automotive repair or maintenance. Completion of vocational training in automotive technology or related field. Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software. Certifications from reputable automotive organizations (e.g., ASE certifications). Closed on Sundays! Are you looking to add to your technician experience in a busy, fast paced repair shop? Or maybe you are interested in the Automotive industry and want to see what it is all about. Now is the perfect time to begin your Automotive Technician career with McCarthy Hyundai- Blue Springs! We are seeking to hire an Automotive Lube Technician Apprentice.
Responsibilities :
- Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in the automotive repair shop.
- Shadow experienced technicians during repair procedures to learn best practices and techniques.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used for each repair or maintenance task.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools.
- Continuously seek opportunities for learning and skill development through training programs and workshops.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality requirements.
