Mechanical Engineer

Tata Technologies, Inc. : Mechanical Engineer – Detroit, MI

DUTIES :

• Design complex components and sub-systems for Heavy Machinery, including intake and exhaust systems.
• Understand client requirements and cascade the team’s tasks to generate concepts
• Collaborate with Suppliers using tools for APQP and PPAP
• Collaborate and schedule work between different teams
• Lead design reviews and resolve technical design conflicts.
• Assess buildability, manufacturability and integration
• Develop 3D model of machine designs in CAD environment
• Assist in establishing design completion dates.
• Perform all other related mechanical engineering duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in mechanical engineering and 3 years of mechanical engineering experience.Experience must include :

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required

Telework : Position may be assigned to undetermined client locations for short- or long-term assignments; 100% telecommuting may be authorized.

SALARY : $87,589–$100,000 / year. Regional salary adjustments for CA, CO, NY, and WA states are base + 20% to 30%
