Job Summary

The Dwight and Dian Diercks School of Advanced Computing at MSOE invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Faculty position. The School is specifically seeking an adjunct faculty member with experience in TinyML , the use of machine learning models in embedded systems. The position is open to applicants with backgrounds in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar areas as long as the applicant can demonstrate significant industry or research experience with TinyML.

The candidate will teach in our Master's in Machine Learning program. Prior teaching experience and relevant industry work experience are desirable. Courses will be taught on weekday evenings and occasional Saturdays.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related area and at least 5 years of industry experience, OR
• PhD in Computer Science or a related area with a focus on machine learning
