HIRING for a Lead security officer with an anticipated start date of 02 / 20 / 2026.

Sunstates Security is hiring Full-Time Lead Security Officer in the Troutdale area. The pay rate for this position is $25.85 / hr, paid weekly, this lead will work the second shift.

General Requirements :

Must have a reliable means of transportation and be able to travel to the site any of the seven days of the week. Must be available for short notice work and call out work, and be able to extend shifts as necessary to ensure continuous 24 / 7 coverage of posts. We are looking for applicants with outstanding customer service and communication skills. A valid driver's license and clean driving record is strongly preferred. Additionally, all applicants should possess the following skills and qualifications :

• 2-3 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience, including 1 year in a supervisory capacity
• Must have DPSST Private Security License
• Have reliable means of transportation and communication.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
• Must always be accessible for phone communication.
• Mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure in the area of responsibility.
• Read and understand written instruction and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form.
• Exceptional Report Writing Skills
• Willing and able to work holidays and weekends.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to work independently.
• Clean background, and drug screen
• Must be available for short notice work.
• Must be over 21 and able to be driver certified This opening is for a 40 hours per week position that is benefits eligible after 30 days.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Shift Supervisor must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
