Collection Equip. Maintainer - Trainee, DL (1303)

OVERALL DESCRIPTION

Learns and assists with performing preventative maintenance on fare box equipment under direct supervison.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Will be trained to perform preventative maintenance on fare collection equipment.
• Will be trained to diagnose electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical fare box equipment using test equipment, writing schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Must have ability to work second shift and weekends.
• Complies with all Authority and departmental safety and security policies and procedures as well as all applicable job safety responsibilities. Reports any safety concerns, compromises or hazards affecting operations, the public, self and / or other employees. Responsible for personal safety and is encouraged to promote the safety of others.
