[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control protocols, at the location. Monitor and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or suspicious activity according to established guidelines. Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or contractors while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence. Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and Allied Universal protocols. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Loss prevention experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
