A company is looking for an IT Mainframe Developer for a contract role.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and modify COBOL programs, CICS transactions, DB2 tables, and JCL scripts for account number expansion

Update field definitions and conduct developer unit testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Document technical changes and support deployment planning and post-implementation activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Minimum 5 years of experience in mainframe development

Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL

Experience with Changeman for version control and familiarity with RACF security

Understanding of data flows, screen layouts, and field transformations
