The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 99,258 - $140,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What You Will Do In this Role:

• Understand Customer business requirements to foresee potential issues, provide input on functional requirements and advise on design.

• Define and execute test scripts and evaluate results against predicted outcomes. Communicate risks for mitigation and defects for swift resolution.

• Lead onsite testing of software with related distribution center functional groups and mechatronics.

• Lead customer end-user training as related to the standard operating of the software tested.

• Support Dematic's Customer Service center with trouble-shooting root cause to expedite resolution.

• Take ownership of testing excellence for optimal project execution.

• Be a subject matter expert and use C programming language to understand testing framework built in C and effectively use it to write automation test cases and explain the system.

• Analyze the logs and debug through the code written in C language to perform root cause analysis.

• Use Java, TestNG and Selenium to build automation framework to build test case repositories.

• Use complex Linux command line arguments build and deploy projects to test and production environments.

What We Are Looking For:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or closely related field and 4 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Software Engineer, Software Engineer, System Analyst or closely related occupation.

• Also requires 2 years of experience with Warehouse Controls Warehouse Management or Warehouse experience with Warehouse Execution Software and operational processes; Object Oriented Programming languages (C# or Java) and SOLID design principles; Git or other distributed version control systems; Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices; using Agile methodology; setting up production-like environment in local environment and deploying artifacts; developing test suites with Java, Selenium, TestNG framework; testing web services such as REST and SOAP; using build tools such as Ant, Maven; using test management tools like Testrail; using bug tracking or issue tracking tool like JIRA; and using MYSQL or SQLServer.

• Up to 30% travel required to various unanticipated customer and company locations in the U.S. Located at Dematic Corp. Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.
