Salary : $125,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Details

What you will be doing :

Evaluates patients :

Conducts comprehensive physical examinations and takes medical histories to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions like injuries, arthritis, and fractures.

Assists in surgery :

Acts as a first assistant during orthopedic surgeries, including procedures like joint replacements, tendon repairs, and fracture fixation.

Provides post-operative care :

Manages patient recovery following surgery, including wound care, pain management, and physical therapy coordination.

Performs minor procedures :

Under supervision, performs procedures like casting, splinting, joint injections, and wound closures.

Skills you need :

Education as a physician assistant

Orthopedic experience as a PA is highly preferred
