We are looking for a dedicated Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. As part of a mission-driven non-profit organization, you will play a key role in providing compassionate support and connecting individuals with vital services. Responsibilities:
• Address incoming inquiries and provide accurate information, referrals, or assistance tailored to client needs.
• Record all client interactions promptly and accurately using web-based systems.
• Stay informed about available services and resources to ensure effective client support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client expectations.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all customer service communications.
• Utilize various software tools, including CRM systems and chat platforms, to enhance service delivery.
• Assist clients with billing and benefit-related questions, ensuring clarity and resolution.
• Handle inbound calls efficiently while managing multiple priorities.
• Support clients using Epic Software and other relevant programs to streamline processes.
• Uphold organizational values and contribute to a positive team environment.• Associate’s degree or higher preferred, or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role.
• Familiarity with public health, social work, psychology, or related social sciences is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle diverse client interactions.
• Proficiency in web-based systems, chat platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly desirable.
• Experience with CRM systems, billing functions, and benefit-related inquiries.
• Ability to navigate software tools such as ADP Financial Services, Avaya CMS, and Epic Software effectively.
