About the Role

This role focuses on designing, architecting, developing, deploying, and operating a modern DevSecOps software factory supporting complex engineering programs. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, modernize end‑of‑life tooling, and migrate teams to updated platforms. The role offers a collaborative environment with diverse projects and cutting‑edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform trade studies and evaluate alternatives for an end‑of‑life peer review tool.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to prototype solutions and secure stakeholder alignment.
• Build and productionize a replacement tool for peer review workflows.
• Define migration plans and transition multiple teams to the new tool.
• Support design and architecture of DevSecOps pipelines and tooling.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Embedded Software, Test Automation, and DevSecOps teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to continuous build, integration, testing, deployment, cyber, and metrics workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field + 14 years of related experience
  OR Master’s + 12 years
  OR . + 9 years
• Experience with peer review tools (., Crucible).
• Experience with at least one OOP language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Python, Swift).
• Hands‑on experience with change management tools (Jira, ClearQuest, Asana).
• Experience using CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo.
• Experience with configuration management systems (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Subversion).

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

• Cloud architect‑level certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, VMware).
• Experience leveraging AI for improving peer review quality.
• Cloud solution architecture experience.
